SYLABUS
GHSGT Test Prep –Math
Mr. Jamnick
2009-2010

TEXT: No text is required for this course. A calculator IS required as well as a pencil.

CONTENT: The content for this course will be based on the content of the state graduation test for math: 1/3 Algebra
1/3 Geometry
1/3 Number sense

Students will be given time daily to complete their math homework

CONDUCT: Students are expected to behave like young adults. Inappropriate behavior will be dealt with swiftly and fairly.

GRADING: The standard Cobb County grading scale will be used:
100-90 A
89-80 B
79-74 C
73-70 D
Below 70 F

HELPFUL HINTS: Please take this class seriously. Passing the GHSGT in math is a requirement to obtain a High School Diploma in the state of Georgia.
